YEMEK DUASI

In contemporary society, it is unfortunate that many do not recite a prayer after meals. The significance of meal prayers cannot be overstated; it is essential that we express our gratitude to Allah after every meal. This practice allows individuals who are unfamiliar with meal prayers to easily access them through their phones, providing a one-click listening option for the meal prayer in both Arabic and Turkish.

The content of the prayer is as follows:

"Elhamdülillahillezi et amenâ ve segânâ ve cealenâ min'el müslimin" translates to "All praise is due to Allah who has fed us, given us drink, and made us among the Muslims." (Ibn Mace)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited numerous prayers after meals, leading to a wealth of hadiths related to meal supplications. It can be beneficial to combine several of these prayers, such as:

"Bize yediren, içeren, Müslüman olmayı nasip eden Allah'a hamdolsun." (Abu Dawood III, 475)

"O Allah! Bless us through this food we have eaten, render it sacred for us, and provide us with what is better than this." (Tirmidhi, Daawat, 55)

"Provide us with sustenance, for You are the Best of Providers." (Maide, 5/114)

"O Allah! We ask You for the complete blessings of the sustenance, the flawless community, and the continuation of the verse." (Abu Dawood III, 501)

Enes b. Mâlik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever recites this dua after eating will have their past sins forgiven:

'Although I have no power and strength of my own, I praise Allah who has provided me with this blessing and ordained it as my sustenance.'" (Tirmidhi, Daawât, 56)
